Always keep desktops clutter-free. Stack simple trays on top for items you want in sight and in mind, such as bills to pay and outgoing letters. Use a file box to hold items you need to access regularly such as receipts and contact information. Leaving litter bags in every room is a great idea because we tend to keep junk just because we can’t be bothered to walk to the bin or put it back in the right place. Keep a reusable shopping bag nearby hanging on a door— you can have several eye-catching shopping bags if you want to brighten the room up a little. Finding cheap storage is easy if you know where to look. Check out the kitchen and home sections in bargain stores and 99p shops. Use racks for a sturdy alternative to a built-in storage units. Take a stroll down every aisle in a supermarket to find boxes that can house papers, books, and notebooks.
